Teresa Collins - Carolina Breeze...

So let me start off by saying i ADORE Teresa Collins!!! I love her paper lines, they are simply put, fabulous!!! I have taught this Carolina Breeze class three times now, and everyone just adores this paper line and this layout! So i thought it was about time i posted it on my blog :) The pictures do this paper line no justice, the colors are so beautiful!!! So without further ado...

The Layout...

The tag...

Close up of the detail on the paper...

In the last close up you can see the inking and stamping that i did to create the background. I started with white paper and created the background, using a stamping and layering technique that i call ghosting. I love doing this, it's a great way to create a background without taking away from the beauty of your paper, because let's face it, some paper doesn't need to blend in when it's made to stand out!!! I used black cardstock as a base to my colorblocking and added a scalloped edge using a Stampin Up punch. I used Stampin Up's whisper white craft ink and Prima stamps to create the tag. Then added a nice big bow using some black tulle. The chandelier and the word beautiful were cut out using the Teresa Collins cricut cartridge Sophisticated. And there you have it!!!

Thanks for stopping by :)

P.S.

Here is one other layout that i did with the Carolina Breeze Line. Just had to share it ;)
